Stainless Steel Milk

Can canned evaporated milk be used for friendship bread on day 6??

I know using metals (other than stainless steel) to stir and carry friendship bread are against the rules, but come day 6 i had no milk in the house when I’ve already added the flour and sugar so i opened a can of evaporated milk and used that. Will this contaminate my starter?
